Spaghetti & Sausage

Enjoy this wonderful robust flavor of sausage and green peppers.

Spaghetti w/Homemade Sauce, Italian Sausage and Peppers


  • 1 large can of tomato sauce
  • 1 can of diced tomatoes of choice
  • 1 can of tomato paste
  • 2 fresh garlic bulbs or 2 tsp of pre-diced garlic
  • Pepper
  • dash of onion powder
  • season all
  • oregano (more or less of preferred complementing seasons)
  • green peppers
  • onions
  • mushrooms (if preferred)

  • Sliced (Italian, smoked, beef or turkey sausage) preferred (Italian turkey sausage shown)
  • Spaghetti of choice (string shown) wheat pasta is a great choice as well

Preparing The Sausage

Slice Italian sausage and peppers. Fry in frying pan with 1/4 cup vegetable oil. Seasonings of choice. Once browned add sauce then bring to simmer. Serve and enjoy!

Cooking Instructions:         Homemade Sauce Instructions

Make your sauce and set aside. Place your spaghetti into 2 quarts of rolling boiling water. Add a teaspoon of oil and a sprinkle of salt to your boiling water. Cook for approximately 12 minutes. Place spaghetti in colander and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process. Place the spaghetti in a bowl or back in the pot. Add a dash of olive oil to the cooked spaghetti and toss. Put a serving of spaghetti on your plates and top with the sausage & pepper spaghetti sauce. Your spaghetti is now ready to eat. Enjoy!
