Homemade Jumbo Smothered Turkey Meatballs


  • ground turkey meat
  • chicken broth
  • worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 diced onion
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 season all
  • 1 tsp basil


Mix ground turkey meat in a bowl with the seasonings, egg, worcestershire sauce and onion. Roll your meat into balls and place in a baking dish. Cover with foil really tight and bake for about an hour at 450 temperature. Once your meat balls are done drain the liquid into a frying pan and add your chicken broth. Add more seasonings and bring to a boil. Mix your flour with water until thin but not runny. You will pour flour mixture into the boiling broth. Continue to stir pouring a little of the flour in slowly. Stir until the broth thickens to texture choice. Be sure not to make your gravy too thick. Add your meatballs to the gravy and simmer. This can be served with rice or potatoes. Enjoy!
