Homemade Lasagna


  • lasagna noodles
  • 1 large can of tomato sauce
  • 1 can of tomato paste
  • 1 can of diced tomatoes
  • mozzarella cheese
  • cheddar cheese
  • ricotta cheese
  • ground turkey meat
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp fresh garlic
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp season all
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbs vegetable oil
  • diced onion
  • diced green pepper


Boil the noodles in water with 2 tbs of vegetable oil and 1/2 tsp of salt. After the noodles are done and brought to a cool temperature, by running cold water over them, put your first layer in a baking dish. Add your meat sauce, mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese and ricotta cheese in a layer. Add about 4 small scoops (1 tsp) of ricotta cheese because this cheese spreads as it melts and will over power the lasagna with its distinct taste. Continue this process with another layer. On the last layer add just a little sauce and mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Cover with foil and cook for about 45 min on 450 temperature. When the cheese is fully melted take the lasagna out of the oven and let it cool for about 10 min. If you cut the lasagna without cooling it will fall apart and may cause scorching.
