Baked Chicken Gravy and Roast Turkey Gravy

  • 1 can or container of chicken broth
  • available fresh chicken/turkey broth
  • 1/2 tsp Season all
  • 1/2 tsp Onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Basil
  • 1/2 to 1 cup of flour

Use McCormick and Schmick country gravy packet found in your local grocery store.


Baked Chicken Gravy and Roast Turkey Gravy

Use the juice from the chicken combined with Swanson's, or chicken broth of choice. Re-season broth mixture and bring to a boil. Mix 1 cup of flour with water, mix until fairly thin with no lumps and add to broth. Stir in moderately while cooking, then stop when you reach desired texture. Gravy best cooked at a boil in a frying pan.
